Andrei Gusov
Head Coach
Former participant of the Olympic Games as a player and coach. Winner of the prestigious Spengler Cup and multiple Polish champion with GKS Tychy. Coached the Belarus U18, U20 and senior national teams. Currently coach of the Polish U18 team. Works with the Ziętara Hockey School as the head coach, sharing his international experience and knowledge with young players.
Andrei Gusov

Marcin Cieślak
Head Coach
A Cracovia Kraków pupil, he was a player in the Polish youth national team, with whom he won promotion to group A U20. As a senior, he won two Polish Champion titles and two bronze medals with Cracovia. He currently coaches youth at MKS Cracovia and has been cooperating with Ziętara's Hockey School since 2011, running camps and selections and participating in tournaments around the world, including three times in the prestigious Pee Wee in Canada.
Krzysztof Zborowski
Manager, Team Leader
Former Polish U18, U20 and senior representative, participant of the Elite World Championships in 2002 and tournaments in 2003, 2009 and 2010. Polish Champion with Podhale Nowy Targ, four-time winner of the bronze medal and two-time winner of the Golden Stick (2009 and 2010) for the best player in the league. Associated with the Ziętara Hockey School since 2013 as a member of the Ziętara Eagles training staff and camp manager, supervising their course and remaining in constant contact with the parents of the participants.
Patrick Spesny
Head Goalkeeping Coach
A graduate of the Czech top league club HC Verva Litvínov, where he gained experience on the highest level of ice rinks. As a junior, he won the gold medal in the Czech provincial championship. During his career, he also represented HC Most and HC Draci Bílina. In the Polish top league, he played for Naprzód Janów, TKH Toruń and STS Sanok. For three seasons, he has been the goalkeeper of EC Będzin Zagłębie Sosnowiec. Despite being an active goalkeeper, Patrik also trains goalkeepers, being a professional in his field and a favorite of young adepts of this position.
Marcel Kotuła
Goalkeeping coach
Raised by Zagłębie Sosnowiec and a former extraliga goalkeeper who represented Zagłębie Sosnowiec, SMS Katowice and the Polish U18 and U20 national teams. He is a young, ambitious coach with a great passion for hockey, who perfectly complements and cooperates with Patrik Spesný, creating a harmonious training duo. He is currently focusing on the development of young goalkeepers as a coach at UKS Zagłębie Sosnowiec, sharing his experience and knowledge to support the next generation of talented goalkeepers
Wojtek Milan
Group coach
Two-time Polish Champion and winner of the Polish Cup with his parent club from Sanok, former player of Cracovia Kraków, TKH Toruń and Haringey Greyhounds. Currently a coach at SMS Toruń, MKS Sokoły Toruń and assistant of the Polish U18 national team, leading club teams to successes, including gold at the Polish Championships in the junior category. Associated with the Ziętara Hockey School since 2013.
Krystian Dziubiński
Group coach
The current captain of the Polish national ice hockey team, with nearly 200 appearances for the national team. A multi-medalist who made Polish field hockey history by winning the Polish Championship with four different clubs: Nowy Targ, Sanok, Krakow and Oświęcim. An extremely ambitious and valiant player who inspires successive generations of hockey players with his determination and skill. He also currently serves as captain of the Oswiecim Union, with which he is participating in the prestigious Hockey Champions League in the 2024/25 season. Krystian Dziubinski holds the highest class A coaching qualifications, which makes him not only an exceptional player, but also an excellent mentor for young students of the sport.
Łukasz Podsiadło
Group coach
A graduate of Zagłębie Sosnowiec, he was a player in top league teams such as Naprzód Janów, GKS Katowice and KH Energa Toruń. As a coach, he led youth groups in Sosnowiec and Toruń, and since 2021 he has been an assistant coach in the top league team from Toruń. Since 2022, he has also been an assistant coach of the U18 national team. He has been associated with the Ziętara Hockey School for years, constantly developing his coaching skills.
Tomasz Marznica
Group coach
He has always been associated with Naprzód Janów, where he took his first steps as a hockey player and coach. As a coach, he won the title of Polish Champion in the junior category and triumphed many times in the Silesian Championships with youth teams. In the years 2017-2020, he was the head coach of the women's national team, with whom he won World Championship medals (bronze and silver) and advanced to the final tournament of the Olympic qualifications. He currently works as a coach and coordinator in Naprzód Janów and has been cooperating with the Ziętara Hockey School for years.
Hubert Demkowicz
Group coach
Raised by STS Sanok and Polish champion in the 2013/2014 season. A graduate of SMS Sosnowiec, he began his coaching journey at UKS MOSiR Niedźwiadki Sanok, working with the youngest adepts of field hockey. Since the 2022/23 season, he has been serving as an assistant coach of the Swedish under-20 team, Järna SK. He is a young, ambitious coach who is constantly developing his skills and gaining valuable experience in the field hockey community in Sweden. His commitment and passion for working with youth are a guarantee of his professional approach to the players
Aleksander Gniewek
Group coach
A pupil of Zagłębie Sosnowiec and a graduate of the School of Sports Mastery in Sosnowiec. Two-time Polish Champion in the CLJ category (2013 and 2016) and two-time Polish Champion of the first league with Zagłębie Sosnowiec and Naprzód Janów. While still a player, he began working as a youth coach in his parent club, where he still trains young hockey players. As a coach, he won the Polish Championship in the U-12 category with UKS Zagłębie Sosnowiec. Since 2024, he has been an assistant to the U-16 National Team. He has been associated with the Ziętara Hockey School since 2022.
Jakub Maciejewski
Off-ice coach
Personal trainer and motor preparation trainer, working with the senior national women's ice hockey team. On a daily basis, he conducts training for professional athletes and amateurs, and also teaches future personal trainers at Teb Edukacja in Tychy. As a former ice hockey goalkeeper, he won many medals and participated in training camps for the Polish U18 and U20 teams. His greatest achievement is the Polish Senior Championship with GKS Tychy in the 2019-2020 season. He uses the experience gained in various sports from an early age to constantly raise the bar for himself and his players.
Pola Weiner
Mental trainer
A sports psychologist with extensive experience, cooperating with the Polish Tennis Association and Ziętara Hockey School since 2016, when mental training was introduced. She runs workshops on sports psychology and mental training, is a lecturer at postgraduate studies and co-author of publications on the psychology of achievement. Her work combines her passion for sports and film, supporting players in achieving success.
Adam Rajski
Group coach
He began his hockey adventure in 2004. In the youth teams of Naprzód Janów he won the titles of Polish and Silesian Champion and represented Poland at the U18 and U20 World Championships, winning a silver medal in Tallinn in 2015. As a player of the senior team of Naprzód Janów he played in the Ekstraliga and the First League for 6 seasons. He currently teaches at the Hockey Academy "Młoda Gieksa" and at the ABC Hokeja Hockey Shooting Range, which he founded, focusing on shooting technique and power skating. He is a graduate of sports management studies and a coach at the Ziętara Hockey School.
Ziętara International Pro Camp #1 is a unique event that combines intensive hockey training with a unique atmosphere of development and competition.
From June 29 to July 4, 100 players born in 2008–2016, divided into three training groups, will have the opportunity to elevate their skills under the supervision of coaches from the Ziętara Hockey School.
During the camp, the head coach of groups A and B will be Andrei Gusov – an outstanding coach and multiple Polish champion with GKS Tychy. As a coach, he won the prestigious Spengler Cup and also led the Belarus U18, U20 and senior national teams. He is currently the coach of the Polish U18 team. His many years of international experience and achievements make him an excellent mentor for young players.
The coach of group C will also be Marcin Cieślak – an experienced and valued coach, well-known on Polish ice rinks. His commitment and professionalism guarantee a high level of training for participants in this group.

Confirmation and participation agreement
After the payment is credited, you will receive two emails:

30 days before the camp starts
You will receive:
- A detailed program of the camp.
- Supporting information on participant preparation.
- A qualification card, which must be completed, legibly scanned and returned within 3 days from its receipt.

Who is this camp for?
How long is the camp and where is it held?
What does the first day of camp look like?
The players assemble at the ArcelorMittal Park ice rink in Sosnowiec. Each participant meets their group coaches and settles in the locker room and then takes their hotel luggage. Once accommodated, there is an opportunity to sharpen the skates. At 12:00 there is a welcome meeting where the camp program and objectives are discussed. Afterwards, the players are placed under the supervision of the coaches.
Can there be changes in groups during the camp?
Can a child who does not speak Polish participate in the camp?
How does the accommodation take place?
Is the camp registered with the education authority?
Yes, each camp is reported to the education authority. If parents need confirmation, they can submit such a request to the camp manager on the first day or send an inquiry by e-mail.
Can I receive an invoice for the camp?
Yes, you only need to provide full invoice details. The invoice will be sent by email or can be collected on the last day of the camp from the manager
Can a parent stay at the campsite?
Parents can watch all on-ice practices from the stands, but they are not allowed in the locker rooms or hotel rooms.
How do the stationary and walk-in options differ?
The stationary option includes the entire camp package, including accommodation. In this option, parents leave the player on the first day and pick them up on the last. The walk-in option does not include accommodation – the player reports for morning training, and the parent picks them up around 9:00 p.m.
What does goalkeeping training at the camp look like?
Goalkeepers train in their own groups A, B or C, and their training program is developed by specialist goalkeeping coaches. Part of the morning sessions are dedicated exclusively to goalkeepers. During off-ice training, goalkeepers have separate sessions tailored to their needs. There are a maximum of five goalkeepers in one goalkeeping group.
Can a child taking medication participate in the camp?
Can a child with food allergies participate in the camp?
Yes, food allergies or special dietary needs must be reported on the qualification form. The kitchen staff will adapt the menu to the individual needs of the participant.
