FAQ
Ziętara Pro International Camp #1

Who is this camp intended for?

The camp is designed for players born between 2008 and 2016, divided into three training groups. It is ideal for young hockey players who want to improve their skills, test themselves against their peers, and prepare for an intense season in their clubs.

Ziętara Pro International Camp #1 runs from 28 June to 3 July 2026. Training sessions take place at the most modern facility in Poland – ArcelorMittal Park in Sosnowiec, and accommodation is provided by the four-star Hotel Szafran ****.

The players gather at the ArcelorMittal Park ice rink in Sosnowiec. Each participant meets their group coaches and settles into the changing rooms, then collects their hotel luggage. After settling in, there is an opportunity to sharpen skates. At 12:00 noon, there is a welcome meeting to discuss the camp programme and objectives. Afterwards, the players are placed under the supervision of their coaches.

Yes, we observe the players during the first two days of camp. If we see a significant difference in skill level, a player may be moved to an older or younger group. Each change is first discussed with the parent and then with the player.

Yes, each training group has a coach responsible for communicating with participants who do not speak Polish. This coach helps, translates and ensures the comfort of the players.

Before the camp begins, participants receive qualification cards and the camp programme. If a player wants to be accommodated with a friend, they simply need to indicate this on the card. The condition is that both must be in the same training group. If a player does not know anyone, they will be accommodated with someone in a similar situation. During the camp, it is possible to change rooms after consulting with the coaches.

Yes, every camp is registered with the education authority. If parents need confirmation, they can submit a request to the camp manager on the first day or send an enquiry by e-mail.

Yes, just provide your full billing details. The invoice will be sent by e-mail or can be collected from the manager on the last day of the camp.

Parents can watch all ice training sessions from the stands, but they are not allowed to enter the changing rooms or hotel rooms.

The accomodation option includes the entire camp package with accommodation. With this option, parents drop off their child on the first day and pick them up on the last day. The no-accomodation option does not include accommodation or breakfast – the child attends morning training and is picked up by their parent at around 9 p.m.

Goalkeepers train in their A, B or C groups, and their training programme is developed by specialist goalkeeper coaches. Part of the morning sessions is dedicated exclusively to goalkeepers. During off-ice training, goalkeepers have separate sessions tailored to their needs. There are a maximum of five goalkeepers in each goalkeeper group.

Yes, children taking medication may participate in the camp. If the medication must be administered by an adult, the parent will receive a form to fill out and will give the labelled medication to the group leader.

Yes, food allergies or special dietary requirements should be reported on the registration form. The kitchen staff will adapt the menu to the individual needs of the participant.
